LukeI looked to see what others had done. Helped a lot. It gave me a good start, and I found a few things I'd like to improve on.

AmandaI decided to make my assessment tasks as simple and practical as I could.
And I took a short-cut. I did something like what my best lecturer used to do. He was brilliant. But I checked that it will still work for me.
Sarah liked them. She thought it was a good way to go.

SimonI wrote an observation list for some things. Easy. Just a form with four things:
    Names and dates and stuff,
    A list of things I was looking for,
    A space for yes or no next to each one with a a place for comments, and
    A signoff section.
Not rocket science.

KateI just asked: "What do you have to do on the job?" Then described it as what students have to do.
Had to edit it a few times to make it understandable though.
