Three year bachelor degree

This policy applies to applicants who have attained university admission standard in education systems in which Bachelor degrees are normally three years (six semesters). Examples include the United Kingdom A-level certificates and Australian ATAR scores.

  1. Appropriately qualified applicants may apply for an exemption from 30 semester hours of bachelor degree requirements, so that the Bachelor degree requires 90 semester hours.
  2. This policy does not apply to applicants who have graduated from high school in those systems but have not qualified for university admission.
  3. Heads of department shall decide upon exemptions of specific units.
  4. Exemptions should normally be foundational units or general education units.
  5. WU gives no assurance that students will be exempt from all 30 semester hours.
