Check your assessment tools before trialling

• Check feasibility. You have to consider time and cost, location, safety, available personnel, equipment, materials, and accessibility.
• Does it look clear, reliable, valid, fair?
• Is it cost effective and easy to administer?
• Does it incorporate principles of access, equity, and OHS?
• Does it meet all package requirements?
• Does it meet any other requirements, such as legislation, regulations, standards, or organisational requirements?
• Will evidence be authentic?
• Will there be there sufficient evidence from enough contexts over a long enough period of time?
• Will it work for the students you have?
