Check your assessment tools before trialling
- Check feasibility. You have to consider time and cost, location, safety, available personnel, equipment, materials, and accessibility.
- Does it look clear, reliable, valid, fair?
- Is it cost effective and easy to administer?
- Does it incorporate principles of access, equity, and OHS?
- Does it meet all package requirements?
- Does it meet any other requirements, such as legislation, regulations, standards, or organisational requirements?
- Will evidence be authentic?
- Will there be there sufficient evidence from enough contexts over a long enough period of time?
- Will it work for the students you have?
