Theological Education By Extension (obedience)
The obedience model of Theological Education by Extension was different in that it did not assess academic knowledge, but whether students were putting into practice what they had learned. This took place against a cultural backdrop where many students learned a great deal of academic information but had not been required to put it into practice in any way.
In a few cases, they assessed students, not by what they had learned, but what they had successfully communicated to their students.
