Keep informed

Keep your OHS knowledge up to date for your workplace: systems, equipment and processes. This means:

  1. being able to get information from inside your organization. There are lots of ways to do this: read the policy manuals, ask your supervisor, check the OHS noticeboard, attend OHS meetings.
  2. Being able to get information from outside your organization. The simplest way is to check the relevant website. Check it out.

Follow your organization’s procedures and keep within your job responsibilities.

You are responsible to know of any standards, codes of practice, compliance codes and guidance material that affect your role.
