This approach works best for self-starting students who want to learn in their own time, and can learn from reading. It can work for distance education students as much as on-site students. It depends of everybody having Internet skills and long periods of Internet access.

It is not at all recommended for those who need to be carefully taught by a person, or who need highly interactive materials.
