What is profile and Centrelink registration?

Until they changed the rules in late 2007, profile was the range of qualifications that ACAS was ready to conduct at any one time. Profile was reviewed every semester and could change.

All listed qualification programs were within scope, that is, the range of activities for which ACAS is approved. Scope lasts for the period of registration.

ACAS must still register each program with Centrelink for students to get Austudy or Abstudy. All listed programs are eligible for Centrelink registration, but ACAS only registers courses that have full-time students on Austudy/Abstudy.
