Variations

Training budgets have other possible variations.

Fee variations

• You may wish to give scholarships (effectively fee discounts) to attract highly gifted students or to help worthy students in cases of hardship.
• You may reduce the fees for spouses of full-time students
• You may wish to encourage auditors (people who go to listen but are not assessed for credit)
• You may give fee reductions to staff.

Windfalls

Unless you expect significant income from these sources, you will probably count them as windfalls.

• Selling materials and recordings
• Licensing the program to other providers

When you get bigger, these may regular become part of your regular budget.
