OHS (Occupational Health and Safety)
You will need to be able to provide a safe environment for your staff. That means:
- putting adequate procedures in place
- coaching the team in safety practices
- making sure that people follow safe practices
- identifying hazards and managing risks
Every kind of work has its own kinds of risks, so the kinds of risks will vary greatly. OHS becomes more challenging in countries or regions with low levels of public safety, and possible civil or military disturbances, and you will need a Crisis Management protocol in place for emergencies.
